North Bossier is both convenient and yet peaceful, with its large pastures and woodlands. With I-220 only minutes from residential areas, residents can gain access to the casinos, Downtown Shreveport, Cross Lake, or the regional airport. The shopping and dining along Airline Drive and nearby Benton Road, is both diverse and widespread, and additionally, only a few minutes to the west is the Louisiana Boardwalk, with its movie theater and shopping fun. Willis-Knighton Bossier Hospital is also in close proximity, as well as several top notch private and public schools. All-inclusive neighborhoods, like Stonebridge and Old Oakes, include beautiful homes set on a golf-course setting with tennis courts, pool and more for residents. Plenty of new neighborhoods abound in North Bossier, including Legacy, Kingston Plantation Subdivision and Lost River Estates.

With easy access to many great aspects of our community, South Bossier is a great place to find your home. It is home to Barksdale Air Force Base and is minutes from Arthur Teague Parkway, allowing South Bossier residents to enjoy great shopping opportunities and all that both Shreveport and Bossier have to offer. South Bossier is also close to Lake Bistineau, the parks along the riverfront and the CenturyLink Center, which is a hub of great entertainment in the area.

HISTORIC NEIGHBORHOODS

If you are looking for a historic home full of charm and character, our area has plenty of that as well. The Highland and South Highlands neighborhood of Shreveport are just across the Red River from Bossier City, making it convenient to live in a 100-year-old home with established tree cover, charm and elegance, and enjoy a very short commute to work anywhere in Bossier-Shreveport. To the east down Interstate 20, the smaller city of Minden also boasts the historic charm with a small-town feel.
